Chocolate Cake with Pears


 

Try making this impressive version of a cake.


For the recipe, we will need:


3 eggs

120 grams of sugar

150 ml of milk

150 grams of butter

3 tablespoons of cocoa powder (full)

1 teaspoon of baking powder (full)

250 grams of flour

3 pears (I used Chinese ones)

1 liter of cherry juice

Spices (cinnamon, orange zest)


To start, prepare the beautiful red pears, this can be done the day before. The pears need to be peeled and boiled in cherry juice for an hour, then leave the pears in the juice for a couple of hours until they cool down completely.


Dough:

First, melt the butter, milk, and cocoa together; there’s no need to boil, just warm it up and stir until smooth.

Beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy, then add the chocolate mixture, flour, and baking powder. Mix until smooth.

Place the pears in the baking form, previously patted dry with a paper towel so they are dry.

Evenly spread the dough and bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes. It can be served with a scoop of ice cream, it’s very delicious, try making it yourself.
