The famous pecan pie.
I've been wanting to cook it for a long time, I thought it was quite difficult, but it turned out to be very simple. Today I want to share this wonderful recipe with you.

I have a 24 cm shape.
Dough:
✔️flour 200 grams
✔️cold butter 100 grams
✔️a pinch of salt
✔️yolk
✔️40 ml of ice water
✔️powdered sugar optional 40 grams
Filling:
✔️3 eggs
✔️100 grams of sugar, preferably cane
✔️60 grams of melted butter
✔️pecans 170 grams in the filling, and 60 grams for decoration
To begin with, we prepare a shortbread dough, for this we add flour, a pinch of salt and powdered sugar to finely chopped cold butter and grind it into crumbs with our hands. Add the yolk, water and knead the soft dough, put it in a bag and send it to rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Roll out the dough, put it in a mold, cut the edges with a knife, make punctures with a fork, line the parchment and pour any grits on top to press down the dough. And send it to the oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
We prepare the filling, mix the eggs with sugar and add the melted butter and chopped nuts, mix.
We take the dough out of the oven, it should be half cooked. We spread the filling, distribute it evenly and decorate it with pecan halves on top.
We send it to a preheated 175 degree oven for 35-40 minutes. It is advisable to cover the first 20 minutes with foil or parchment so that the nuts do not burn.
